Lotte City Hotel Guro Superior Double (Sleep-Optimized Room + Free Minibar + Netflix)

Following Myeongdong and Mapo, I visited Lotte City Hotel in Guro. The plan I booked included a Superior Double Room with free minibar benefits, a sleep-optimized room, and Netflix access.

Netflix requires an account, so it wasn't a particularly useful benefit. The minibar, however, was well-stocked with 2 cans of beer, jerky, 2 types of snacks, and 2 types of beverages.

The sleep-optimized room concept features an oxygen generator, an aromatherapy diffuser to aid sleep, and a variety of pillows. I was assigned a room on the 19th floor of the 20-story building.

The view includes Sindorim D-Cube City, Techno Mart, and Mokdong Hyperion. However, the view from Shilla Stay Guro is better.

All rooms, except for suites, have shower booths instead of bathtubs. Amenities are provided in large dispensers.

As one of the most affordable branded chain hotels in Seoul, the rooms are bustling with business travelers, tourists, couples, and friends. Despite this, the soundproofing is better than expected, fulfilling the sleep-optimized room's purpose. The bedding, featuring Lotte's own brand "He:on," is very comfortable.

The elevators are sufficient in number, ensuring smooth movement. Surprisingly, hotels with only two elevators can be a source of stress, but this was not an issue here.

I had a housewarming to attend at 10 a.m. the next day, so I skipped breakfast. If you reserve breakfast during check-in, you can get a 20% discount. The staff were extremely friendly.

Located about a 5-minute walk from Guro Digital Complex Station, the hotel is also close to an E-Mart and a nearby food alley, making it a great value-for-money accommodation. Thank you.
