Step back in time at Gyeongbokgung Palace, the heart of Korea’s royal heritage. 🏯 Built in 1395, this iconic landmark was once the grand home of kings, queens, and scholars during the Joseon Dynasty. Wander through majestic gates, serene gardens, and beautifully restored royal halls — each telling stories of Korea’s past.
Don’t miss the Changing of the Guard Ceremony at the main gate (10am & 2pm daily, except Tuesdays) — a colourful tradition full of photo ops!
Tips:
• Explore slowly — bring water, hat & comfy shoes for summer
• Key spots: Geunjeongjeon (Throne Hall) & Hyangwonjeong Pavilion
• Add National Folk Museum to complete your culture day
