A relic from the Joseon Dynasty, Heungjinmun

Heungjinmun, also known as Dongdaemun, is a fortress gate located at the east side of the centre of Seoul. There are 4 main gates which serves as the main entrance to the inner city, Today, this gate was left behind and serves as an important cultural relic in Korea. Nearby the gate there are also remnants of city walls which is now converted to a park, and visitors and enjoy themselves there overlooking the nice city. It is very easily accesible from line 1, Dongdaemun station.
