Nine Tree by Parnas Seoul Myeongdong 2~!

This is a review of my stay at the Nine Tree Premier Hotel Myeongdong 2 in Euljiro 3-ga. It seems they added the number "2" to this location to avoid confusion with the Nine Tree Hotel Myeongdong.

While Euljiro is currently trending as a hip area, Myeongdong is the most famous among foreigners, so I guess they named it Myeongdong 2.

Even in Tokyo and Osaka, even if they're a bit further away, Shinjuku and Namba are often added, making it easy to understand. Lotte City Myeongdong is no exception.

After booking, my confirmation email was replied to with the Parnas Hotel number, so I wondered if it was the Coex Parnas. I looked into it and it was. The two InterContinental Hotels in Coex are also listed as such.

Even the receipts I received for afternoon tea at both locations were credited to the Parnas Hotel. The manager at the Coex branch told me they were the same company, meaning Nine Tree is part of the same group.

All of them are affiliated with GS Retail, so the Myeongdong Hotel also has a GS25 convenience store. Of course, subsidiaries are always in sync. Lotte City also has an Angel-in-us and a 7-Eleven.

This is also a 4-star hotel, part of the Parnas Group's city-level hotels. There's a lounge and gym on the top floor, the 18th floor, but they're currently closed due to COVID-19. Coffee is available for takeout only.

My room was on the 16th floor and had a view of Namsan Tower. The tower was visible up close beyond the Sejong Hotel, where I previously stayed. Since there are no tall buildings nearby, the Banyan Tree, Shilla Hotel, and Lotte World Tower were also visible.

The night view was quite beautiful, although the view was limited due to the topography. This is a restaurant with a great view. It's within walking distance of the hip neighborhood's hot spots, as well as Jongno, Myeongdong, Cheonggyecheon, and Dongdaemun.

I think this is a well-maintained hotel with good value for money, with spacious rooms and decent facilities, at around 50,000-60,000 won on weekdays.

The bedding was a bit dusty, but the windows open, allowing for ventilation. The staff are also very friendly. Thank you.

※. The rain came and went that day, creating a beautiful rainbow, which I was able to enjoy from my room. I was also given a glass of wine, so I had a great time!
