Kehi Pine Grove is one of Japan's three largest pine groves, along with Saga Prefecture's "Rainbow Pine Grove" and Shizuoka Prefecture's "Miho Pine Grove."

Matsubara, a nationally designated Place of Scenic Beauty, is a tranquil spot surrounded by a pine forest on a curving sandy beach along Tsuruga Bay.

There are three walking trails: a 15-minute walking course, a 20-minute history and culture course, and a 40-minute forest bathing course.
