Seoul city

Seoul City, South Korea.

We stayed at the NINE TREE BY PARNAS SEOUL INSADONG in city centre.
Quite busy during the working week with a six lane highway outside the hotel, but everything seemed well organised, maintained, clean and litter and graffiti free! Didn’t hear hardly any car horns as they drive very sensibly and respectfully.
On the other of side of the highway from the hotel is the Jogyesa Temple which is worth a visit.
For the price equivalent of £20 each you can hire palace costumes and visit the Changdeokgung Palace which was 20 minutes from our hotel. This is a sprawling site with many immaculately preserved palace buildings to explore with great photo opportunities.
Taking another day to have a wander we visited Namsan Park with the N Seoul Tower, where we had our delicious meal at the top in the Hancook Korean restaurant.
All in all, a very clean and safe city, with many nice restaurants from various nationalities. We were very impressed and it’s a pity many UK and European cities aren’t as clean as Seoul!
