Located near Eunpyeong Hanok Village, Jingwansa Temple is a great place to visit along with the village. It takes about 30 minutes on foot from the village entrance to the temple, but the path is relatively flat and well-maintained, making it an enjoyable walk. Along the way, you can also enjoy the scenic valley, with the sound of clear water providing a calming effect.

Jingwansa Temple gained fame in 2009 when an old Taegeukgi and 19 items related to the Independence Newspaper were discovered during the dismantling and restoration of Chilseonggak Hall. The Taegeukgi is believed to have been made by the Provisional Government of Shanghai and used during the March 1st Independence Movement. These items were hurriedly hidden by Chowol, a monk and independence activist, before his arrest.
