Henan Agricultural University has three campuses: Wenhua Road, Longzihu, and Xuchang New District in Zhengzhou. Originating from the Henan University , founded in 1902, Henan Agricultural University is the origin and source of modern higher education in Henan.
The Longzihu Campus is the only new university campus in the Central Plains region to boast European-style architecture. From the gate to the teaching buildings, and ultimately the entire campus layout, Western-style architecture is evident. At the entrance, a three- arched, connected building, reminiscent of the Arc de Triomphe in France, stands over a dozen meters tall, with eight embedded columns, creating a majestic presence.
