🏛🌳 "Seoul Yongsan Travel – National Museum of Korea & Yongsan Park Healing Course"
For a trip that combines history and nature in the heart of Seoul, we recommend the National Museum of Korea and the newly developed Yongsan Park. It's perfect for families, couples, and solo travelers alike.
📍 National Museum of Korea (137 Seobinggo-ro, Yongsan-gu, Seoul)
This is the largest museum in South Korea, showcasing Korean history and culture from prehistoric times to the present day. It features a variety of artifacts, including Buddhist statues from the Three Kingdoms period, Goryeo celadon, and Joseon Dynasty paintings. Admission to the permanent exhibition is free. There's also a children's museum, making it a great destination for families with children. The building itself is magnificent, and the surrounding pond and walking paths make it a perfect place to relax.
📍 Yongsan Park Site (Yongsan-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul)
This large-scale park is currently under construction on the site of a former US military base. Some sections are temporarily open. This special space, offering a vast expanse of green space in the heart of Seoul, is expected to become a popular recreational space for citizens, much like New York's Central Park, upon completion. Currently, visitors can stroll through the pilot area and enjoy nature within the city.
