Of all the salt breads I've ever had, the best was definitely Jayeondo Salt Bread & Jayeondo in Ikseon-dong. 🥐

As soon as I entered the shop, the savory aroma of butter filled the air, and the moment I took a bite of the warm salt bread, I thought, "Ah, so that's why it's famous." The outside was crispy, the inside was moist, and the rich buttery flavor filled my mouth. The addition of French sea salt perfectly balanced the greasiness, creating an addictive taste that kept me reaching for more. It was clean and rich, incomparable to store-bought processed butter.

Aside from the taste, the interior was also impressive. Stepping inside the hanok, the atmosphere felt like stepping into a small salt farm, creating a unique experience. Beyond the bread itself, the experience was special.
