Towards Sweet Royal Desserts, the Path to Saenggwabang

Walking slowly through the inner grounds of Gyeongbokgung Palace, I made my way to Saenggwabang. Passing by Gyotaejeon Hall and reaching the end of a serene wall-lined path, the royal dessert café Saenggwabang came into view. As I strolled along the path adorned with red tiles and neat wooden doors, it felt as if I had traveled back in time to the Joseon Dynasty. The rustling sound of bamboo swaying in the wind and the crunch of gravel underfoot added to the ambiance. Along the way, modest flower beds and stone steps created a natural sense of leisure. Imagining a warm cup of tea amidst the elegant scenery of the palace brought a smile to my face. This path is not just a route but a 'path of reflection' that allows you to empty your mind and fully embrace the present moment. Finally arriving at Saenggwabang, traditional desserts and a tranquil atmosphere await. It is the perfect culmination of a sweet journey filled with royal elegance and serenity.
