A boutique coffee shop in the back garden of Dongdaemun, South Korea.

I stumbled upon this boutique coffee shop in Dongdaemun, and its retro vibe was exactly what I wanted!
Why do I call it a backyard? Because it's located in a residential area behind Dongdaemun, less frequented by tourists. However, this area is full of hidden gems, and this coffee shop on the slope is a perfect example ❤️
This place truly only sells coffee. If you're looking for coffee with cakes or other light snacks, this isn't for you 🤣. They roast their own beans, allowing you to choose different beans and whether you want a pour-over, classic black, or milk-based coffee. I highly recommend the pour-over option—it's incredibly affordable! The price of one cup in Hong Kong gets you two cups here, and each cup is quite generous!
I tried the house blend first, then the special bean flavor. I thought the house blend was already delicious. If you can communicate in Korean, the baristas are quite talkative, and you can chat with them.
They play jazz on a turntable during business hours, and everyone was relaxed, enjoying their coffee and conversation. It was so satisfying to visit this place during my trip!
