Best Ginseng Chicken Soup

The Tosokchon Samgyetang is located at 5 Jahamun-ro 5-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul, South Korea. The opening hours is from 10am to 9pm daily. Be sure to go there an hour before to grab a good seat.

Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted with few hundreds years old giant ginseng at the entrance. The restaurant offers both white and black chicken choice. As the black chicken is more nutrious, hence the price is much higher. The restaurant offers free kimchi for every diners. The kimchi is very spicy, not for the mild spicy lover. Inside every chicken is a small 6 years old ginseng hidden within the chicken. There are also rice inside the chicken which makes it tasty. Be sure to visit the restaurant to taste their famous ginseng chicken soup.
