Seoul, South Korea|Gyeongbokgung Palace Tusokchon Ginseng Chicken Soup 토속촌 삼계탕

Because they only sell ginseng chicken soup, the waitress simply asked how many people there were and we ordered. In less than ten minutes, the ginseng chicken soup was served, and there were only two side dishes (kimchi & pickled radish). The ginseng chicken soup was served with a small cup of ginseng wine on the side, which could be added according to personal preference. I took a sip before pouring it down. It tasted very strong in ginseng but the spiciness of the alcohol was okay. The chicken was stewed from a whole spring chicken and it tasted very tender. The chicken soup had a strong ginseng flavor, and I filled my stomach with glutinous rice. I was actually very full after eating the whole bowl. The kimchi and pickled radish were quite authentic Korean flavors and they were very delicious.

The overall food quality, taste, and service attitude are good, but the meal is a bit monotonous (only chicken soup + two side dishes). If you like to eat a variety of foods in one meal, you may want to consider it.
