Gyeongbokgung Palace, a popular tourist attraction, is located in a building-lined corner of central Seoul, South Korea.
As the main palace of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910), it is known as the royal residence and home of government affairs.
Admission is free if you wear traditional Korean clothing, such as hanbok or chima jeogori, so we recommend wearing one while sightseeing.
The nearest stations are Gyeongbokgung Palace Station and Gwanghwamun Station,
and the area is also close to tourist attractions such as Samcheong-dong, Anguk, and Ikseon-dong.
We'd like to introduce you to a salted bread specialty shop located in Gyeongbokgung Palace.
The shop is small and does not have an eat-in area, but many people come here to eat while walking around.
When I visited around 12:30, the bread had just finished baking, and the delicious aroma of butter filled the shop. 🧈🥐
The bread was piping hot, freshly baked, and fluffy and chewy—delicious!
The owner was also kind, and it was a heartwarming experience!
