Winding down from the Kunlun Mountains⛰️
Rainy weather made visibility extremely low🌧️
Even experienced drivers proceeded with caution🚗
Finally arrived at today's destination—Shache
This town known as "Kashgar from 20 years ago"🏰
Bustling streets, old shops brimming with local flavor
It truly feels like traveling back in time✨
🏛️ First Stop: Yarkand Khan Palace
The blue-toned architecture is breathtaking!
The mosaic-painted exterior walls radiate exotic charm
Though under renovation (only exterior photos allowed)
Its beauty under sunlight remains unreal💙
Tip: Plenty of ancient buildings to explore nearby
🛍️ Stumbling Upon the Old Street
Walking east reveals a colorful corridor
Gourd shops lined up one after another
The vibrant storefronts are perfect for photos📸
🍗 Must-Try Food: Muqam Hotel's Pigeon Feast
Xinjiang locals truly master pigeon cuisine!
The aroma of roasted pigeon is irresistible
Pigeon soup so fresh it's mind-blowing
Even the pigeon noodles are incredibly flavorful🍜
(Note: Alcohol is prohibited at the hotel at night🍺)
This travelogue makes me want to revisit even more!
