Sinan Mansions are a remodeled houses complex dating from the French concession (1920s) in Shanghai. Sinan Mansions are considered part of city’s cultural heritage, an outdoor museum with gardens, elegant European style old architecture, pedestrian lines and trees.

Sinan Mansions are a beautiful complex, most houses were remodeled or modified to bring life to luxurious shops, restaurants and bars. You can get amazing cocktails or even your wedding dress in this area. Restaurants goes from Japanese food, tapas and Italian food, to coffee shops. Several different pubs with very interesting (odd) decoration (pic 7).

During the day or night, Sinan Mansions are a beautiful place to visit. Architecture will be better appreciated during the day. Nevertheless, the romantic ambience granted in the veil of the night is hard to ignore. This is a great place to have a date, or come with your family.
