Shanghai Pudong International Airport Terminal 2

The gateway to the sky of Shanghai, China. This huge airport is located in Pudong District, one of the two airports in Shanghai (Hongqiao and Pudong). For flights to Japan, it is mainly used by Star Alliance airlines such as ANA, Air China, and Juneyao Airlines.

Since the COVID-19 restrictions, health declarations are required when departing from and entering China. The main declarations include where you have stayed in the past two weeks, your health, and contact information. If you have a WeChat app on your smartphone, you can declare your health using the mini app, create a QR code, and have the staff at the passport check scan it. If you don't have WeChat, you will need to enter your information on a dedicated device.
