Nanjing National Defense Park, the city's only park dedicated to national defense education, covers an area of ​​20 hectares. Named after Jiang Zemin, the park boasts beautiful scenery. Centered around a cluster of uniquely arranged pavilions, it borders the Yanwang River to the north, the Heavy Weapons Field to the west, and Shicheng Mountain to the south. The park combines the style of a classical garden with a modern flair.

The park primarily cultivates azaleas, boasting tens of thousands of various species. These azaleas are planted naturally on hillsides and under forests, creating a natural spectacle. Every April and May, the park is ablaze with vibrant colors. The park's exhibition hall features three exhibition halls: the National Defense Education Hall, the Military Branch Hall, and the World Military Science and Technology Weapons Hall. Centered around a complex of uniquely arranged pavilions, the park combines the style of a classical garden with a modern military flair. It houses a simulated exercise field, a heavy weapons field, the National Defense Education Hall, the Military Branch Hall, and the Heroes and Model Hall. The latter showcases numerous notable battles fought in the Nanjing area over the past 2,400 years, beginning in 570 BC, through extensive images and materials. The National Defense Park has become a key hub for patriotic education, revolutionary tradition education, and national defense knowledge education.
