🐢 The exhibition begins with Frida and includes works by several other female artists, presenting the theme 'I, indefinable.' Among them, Turtle's favorite is the work of Tsai Ya-ling. It represents a type of feminine strength that is different from Frida's, a strength that asks 'what's the point of being tough as steel, if it turns soft around the finger?' If the crystal bead strings with 'NO' and 'LEAVE ME ALONE' are eye-catching, then the four pieces of embroidery created with hair are what truly shock Turtle. The white hair of the mother, the black hair of the daughter, curves, pop dots, embroidered on the Dacron fabric associated with childhood memories of the mother. It is an experience of life, a silent scream, an almost cruelly heartfelt journey.
