Year of the Dragon at Shanghai Yuyuan Lantern Festival 🇨🇳

During Chinese New Year, the 15th day is often known as Lantern Festival. In Shanghai at Yu Garden, there is a huge lantern display every year for this festival. Many people come to visit to view this spectacle!

🚇 To get to Yu Garden, take the metro on Line 10 or 14 to Yuyuan Station. Exit via exit 7 and then walk 500m to the destination.

As you walk around and explore the wonderland of lights, the nine turn bridge is the most special. Although this area can get very crowded, so I recommend going here as soon as the lights turn on, which is usually around 5pm.
