| It looks like a place straight out of a Hayao Miyazaki anime. Where to go in Shanghai for the weekend❓ Come to Chongming Island Xisha Wetland Park‼️
🔖 Swaying reed fields, healing Metasequoia forest area, blue skies and white clouds with the quality of a Miyazaki film, all bring a sense of peace and romance.
📸 Recommended Check-in Spots
🔸 Metasequoia Forest Area: A green oxygen bar in summer, with beautiful reddish-brown metal buildings surrounded by Metasequoia trees.
🔸 Reed Fields: Lush green reed fields in summer, looking especially like scenes from a Miyazaki film, super healing.
🔸 Bird Watching Tower: A distinctive three-story circular building that looks like a lighthouse from a distance.
🔸 Tide Listening Platform: Recommended spot for sunset and tides, a place in Shanghai where you can see the 'seaside'.
🎢
Watch Metasequoia 🌲, see reed fields 🌾, listen to the tides 🌊, bird watching 🐦, catch crabs 🦀
Tips:
1️⃣ There is a small shop near the entrance of Xisha Wetland Park where you can buy water and supplies, but there are no supply points inside the park.
2️⃣ Xisha Wetland Park is adjacent to Xisha Mingzhu Lake Scenic Area, so don't park at the 'Mingzhu Lake Parking Lot', as the two scenic areas are managed independently.
3️⃣ If you visit Xisha Wetland Park in summer, remember to take outdoor sun protection and mosquito repellent measures.
4️⃣ There are many small crabs in the scenic area, so remember to bring a rope, a folding bucket, and fresh meat.
