Transportation:
The location is indeed very far away. It takes 1 hour to drive from the city center.
Exhibition hall content:
The exhibition hall layout is grand, the flow is reasonable, the division is clear, and the benefits are substantial. These words are not written for the sake of writing a review, but are inspired by the visit. It is not only based on ships, but also involves multiple sections and concepts such as ocean, biology, and environmental protection.
Exhibition highlights:
I bought the afternoon session. It is recommended that you arrive at 1:15 and follow the free guide in the museum to listen to the full explanation from 1:30. This is a rare point. Now many museums have very advanced exhibits, but the subsequent explanations are all charged. It is rare to be free and attentive.
I especially want to mention the guide. I haven't seen a guide who is so patient with children for a long time, and who answers every question of the children seriously, interacts with the children actively, and accepts their questions. The free explanation is a hundred times more detailed than some of the paid ones outside! It is so worth affirming!
Tips:
Such a good museum, such a good explanation, such a large exhibition hall, but there are indeed not many people, losing in the geographical location. I have to say that Lingang Dishui Lake is indeed very far away, but people who are really working hard to make museums should be seen by more people.
The explanations of the staff in the museum are professional, and there are many elementary school student volunteers. You can tell how much homework they have done behind the scenes by listening to their explanations.
A treasure museum. If you don't mind the long journey, I sincerely hope that every one of you who has time will come and have a look!
