The Jiading Museum is a national first-class museum and a local comprehensive museum, including the main museum, the Shanghai Chinese Imperial Examination Museum, the "Exhibition of the Life of Gu Weijun, a Modern Diplomat" and the "Exhibition of the Life of Comrade Hu Juewen" in the Fahua Pagoda, and the Jiading Bamboo Carving Museum.

The main museum of Jiading Museum is adjacent to Qiuxia Garden. The exit of Qiuxia Garden is the entrance of the main museum of Jiading Museum. Here, you can not only see the history of Jiading and the "Lianchuan Collection - Museum Collection Exhibition", but also the temporary exhibition "Stories in Light and Shadow - Tangshan Shadow Puppet Art Exhibition".
