On the mountaintop in Luzhou, waiting for a sunset known to none
Freedom is the shape of the wind, loneliness the city's reflection
From dusk to nightfall
Watching the lights across the shore flicker on, like a silent feast
And I, merely watching from afar
Traffic flows like a galaxy cascading, neon shattering into glimmers on the river
In this moment, the world is loud, but my heart is quiet
No one hurries me to leave, no one asks why I linger
I just want to remember this moment's tenderness and solitude
Some views are meant to be seen alone
