Shanghai | Brilliant Chinese food in traditional hotel

First Meal Back in Shanghai at Jinmao · Jinjiang Hotel
Jinjiang Hotel is still as stunning as ever! The restaurant is right next to Yongfu.

The meal started with four beautifully plated appetizers: the smoked fish had an incredibly crispy outer layer with perfectly balanced sauce, the salted chicken was packed with flavor, the jellyfish head was super crunchy and refreshing, and the dish was garnished with cucumber for an extra touch. There was also tofu skin stuffed with mushrooms and carrots—light and delicious!

The shrimp xiaolongbao were large, with thin, delicate skin, generous filling, and flavorful broth—absolutely delicious!

The roast duck was unexpectedly amazing—the skin was crispy yet not greasy, and when paired with scallions and sauce, it was incredibly aromatic!

💰Average cost per person: RMB 200+
📍Address: 11F, Jinbei Building, Jinjiang Hotel, 59 Maoming South Road
