Valentine's Day Guide to a Summer Nostalgic Festival in Old Shanghai

For the upcoming 520, our foodie friends have been pondering how to spend it right. So, we, a group of thoughtful buddies, took inspiration straight from the hit drama 'Blossoms' and designed this nostalgic Old Shanghai walk route for you ⬇️. Beauty, food, and shopping all sorted!

🚶 Walking Route: Sinan Bookstore (Poetry Store) - Sichuan Xiao Chuan·Sea Inside There's Noodles Taizhou Cuisine (Huaihai 755 Store) - Huai Guo Old H22 Vintage Shop - Jinjiang Hotel - Yongfu (Huangpu Store)

👉 Sinan Bookstore·Poetry Store
Stroll around and look up to see the plane trees on Sinan Road and Xiangshan Road, GET the place where our dear Baobao grew up and played. You can also check in at this beautiful Sinan Bookstore located in a 90-year+ old church, which is also one of the literary landmarks of our Magic City.

👉 Sichuan Xiao Chuan·Sea Inside There's Noodles·Taizhou Cuisine (Huaihai 755 Store)
Who says Taizhou cuisine has to be synonymous with expensive! This affordable Taizhou cuisine restaurant inside Huaihai 755 is delicious and not pricey. You can also enjoy nostalgic Taizhou local snacks like black rice with a variety of toppings including youtiao pieces, pork floss, pine nuts, and eggs. The soft and chewy texture perfectly interweaves with the crispy, a truly respected love!

👉 Huai Guo Old H22·Vintage Shop
The Huai Guo Old mentioned in the 'Blossoms' novel, where you could drag anything to sell, now has opened a second-hand luxury vintage shop! A gorgeous two-story space on Huaihai Middle Road, complete with a coffee shop. Sipping afternoon tea while hunting for vintage luxury brands is simply too comfortable!

👉 Jinjiang Hotel
The old Jinjiang on the 12th floor, where grandpa and uncle used to go, hides a Michelin restaurant that almost everyone knows: Yongfu. The superb quality of East Sea seafood is amazing, but the Ningbo rice balls and Fenghua taro soup that are must-orders every time are the authentic Ningbo nostalgic flavors in memory.
