📍Jaguar Shanghai Symphony Orchestra Concert Hall
Shanghai Symphony Orchestra (SSO)
After citywalking along Anfu Road for half a day, I walked all the way to the SSO and was captivated by the artistic atmosphere around here. Although the SSO base is close to the bustling city, it feels surprisingly peaceful and elegant.
The Shanghai Symphony Orchestra is known as China’s earliest symphony orchestra, holding about 80 to 100 concerts annually, including regular orchestral concerts, international tours, chamber music, youth concerts, and outdoor performances.
Each season, they collaborate with world-class conductors and soloists, including:
Jaap van Zweden
Claudio Abbado
Yo-Yo Ma
Itzhak Perlman
Anne-Sophie Mutter
SSO concerts are not held every day, but if you have the chance to pass by, I recommend stepping in to experience the atmosphere here~
