📍 Venice, often referred to as the City of Water, is said to be at risk of submerging someday—so make sure to visit while you can!
✈️ I traveled to Venice from Marco Polo Airport by bus. Note that you need to pay an entry tax to visit Venice. Sometimes this fee is included in your hotel stay, so be sure to check in advance. ✅
🚢 During my Venice tour, I explored the city by foot and water bus. Gondola rides are also available! Booking in advance ensures a smooth experience. Enjoying the stunning views of Venice from the water is highly recommended! The cityscape of Venice is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, so make sure to visit before it’s too late!
🌇 Venice is surrounded by various nearby islands, which can be easily visited using water buses for day trips. 🏝️ This time, I visited Burano Island. Water buses don’t require reservations and can be boarded using contactless payment. If you’re visiting Venice, consider taking a day trip to one of the islands—it’s definitely worth it!
💡 Most souvenir shops accept card payments, so cash wasn’t necessary. However, many places require a minimum purchase of 5 euros to use a card, so carrying a small amount of cash for convenience is a good idea!
