[Shanghai Transit] Yuyuan

📍Yuyuan Old Street:

If you want to enjoy the night in #Shanghai, this is the place!🌃
It’s within walking distance even for #transit sightseeing, where you can satisfy your small hunger while enjoying a Chinese atmosphere. In a pedestrian zone, there is a cluster of buildings colorfully lit up that evoke ancient China, creating a space packed with food stalls offering #xiaolongbao and sweets, as well as souvenir shops. Many girls dressed in #hanfu were also walking around.
Around Yuyuan, there are other tourist spots like #NewWorld and #TheBund, so I recommend stopping by on a night visit to Shanghai!

80 minutes by train from #PudongInternationalAirport, 50 minutes by train from #HongqiaoInternationalAirport.
Google Maps doesn’t work in China, so it’s recommended to download “Baidu Maps” in advance❗️(It’s only in Chinese, but it’s generally easy to understand by intuition👌)

1️⃣ Walk around Yuyuan for food, souvenir shopping, and photos🤳
Inside #YuyuanOldStreet, there are popular #xiaolongbao shops among Japanese visitors like ‘#NanxiangMantouDian,’ anime goods shops, and traditional Chinese confectionery stores. Outside #Yuyuan, there are also souvenir shops and restaurants.
2️⃣ Walk toward the river (#HuangpuRiver) to the Bund Financial Center with architecture by #ThomasHeatherwick
This area is a shopping mall where you can enjoy exhibitions, dining, and shopping all in one place.
3️⃣ Walk along the riverside while admiring the architecture
Across the street from the Bund Financial Center along the Huangpu River, the area is wide and easy to walk.
4️⃣ Head to #TheBund while enjoying the #ShanghaiNightView
As you walk, you’ll see the symbol of Shanghai’s nightscape, the #ShanghaiTower (Oriental Pearl TV Tower). Walking along the river to The Bund, you can also see many tulips blooming in spring.🌷
