Touring the Shanghai Natural History Museum

#GetDiscountsWithoutLuck

The first place we chose to visit in Shanghai was the Shanghai Natural History Museum. The entrance ticket is only 30 yuan. It’s open from Tuesday to Sunday (closed on Mondays and public holidays).

My friend and I picked this place because we wanted to see the mammoth up close, and we were not disappointed. It’s very spacious inside, with a total of 6 floors. We enjoyed walking around. Most visitors are families bringing their kids for educational trips.

Each floor has real animal skeletons as well as models that realistically replicate the animals’ appearances, making them look alive. It’s truly amazing.

I really liked the African forest zone, which has giraffes, zebras, and many other animals. The atmosphere feels like walking through a mini safari.

Another interesting zone is the mineral section, which explains how minerals were formed on Earth and displays many types of minerals and rocks. It’s more beautiful and exciting than I expected.

If you’re a museum lover, I must say this place is a must-visit. The exhibits are very well organized, with plenty to see, and you can spend the whole day here without getting bored.
