Amam LonBakery Town, a London-themed café in the heart of Shanghai

On this Shanghai trip, my friends and I stopped by Amam LonBakery Town, a super cute London-themed café in the West Nanjing Road area. It’s just a few minutes’ walk from Exit 4 of the subway station. The café is decorated in warm tones, with floral patterned tiles, classic wooden cabinets, and soft yellow lighting, giving the feeling of being in a bakery on a London street. 

I chose to order a rich, aromatic hot chocolate and a dense, fragrant pistachio bread that was incredibly enjoyable to chew. Another impressive item was the strawberry pie, which had a sweet and slightly tart flavor perfectly balanced with light cream on top. Every bite was pure happiness.

The atmosphere inside the café is perfect for chilling with friends or even coming alone for a cozy vibe. They offer a wide variety of pastries and drinks, including croissants, cheesecakes, scones, and authentic English afternoon tea sets. 

For anyone visiting Shanghai looking for a café with a great atmosphere, delicious treats, and beautiful photo opportunities, I highly recommend stopping by Amam LonBakery Town. You’re sure to have an unforgettable experience.
