Today, I’m taking you for a walk at Yuyuan Old Street, another landmark that anyone visiting Shanghai shouldn’t miss!
This is a retro market in an ancient Chinese style where you can stroll around both day and night. A little secret: come in the evening to enjoy both vibes because at night, the buildings light up, making you feel like you’ve stepped into an old tea house.
And the must-try food is “Xiaolongbao.” Actually, you should order the jumbo size, but I was afraid I couldn’t finish it > < The taste is great, with fragrant soup inside along with crab roe that’s not too greasy. Importantly, there’s also a Hey Tea shop here. The wait wasn’t long, and today I tried the pink guava tea—delicious and refreshing.

🚘 Transportation: We took the subway and walked a bit to get here, or you can call a Didi, which is super convenient.
