The Museum of Glass in Shanghai is a must half day trip especially if you want to keep the kids amazed.
You start by understanding how glass is made and coloured and the different types of glass used, as well as the different processes for shaping glass.
Then you're taken through both local historical objects and global objects made from glass, some you wouldn't believe are made from glass at all!
Upstairs you then explore beautiful art made from glass, and any current exhibitions that are on.
Every day there are shows performed on glass making, make sure that you go to one of these, they show a number of glass making techniques but it's all high drama and will be sure to have you going wow!
Finally for the kids (and maybe grown ups with a big kid inside still) there is a glass maze where you must find 8 different shapes hidden in the maze and stamp them on your map card before finding your way out and getting a sticker!
