Going on a business trip to Shanghai, the only hotel I’ve stayed at three times is this one!

NO.8 Shanghai Heron Regent | The Most Relaxing Experience

First, let me highlight the key points:

1. The design and decor of Heron Regent are very innovative, especially the entrance design. If there’s no one in front, the door automatically opens from the moment you get out of the car to entering the hotel, creating a special ceremonial feeling that greatly enhances the guest experience, making you feel as warm as coming home.
2. Two-thirds of the hotel rooms have balconies, allowing guests to enjoy a relaxing time on the balcony during their stay. Compared to other Shanghai hotels that either don’t have balconies or only offer them in premium suites, Heron Regent offers great value for money.

Now, the advantages:

1. The hotel opened within the last two years, so all facilities are very well-equipped. From bottled water, washbasins to bathtubs, the entire range of amenities exudes a high-end luxury feel, fully justifying its price point, which is excellent.
2. The service at this hotel is noticeably improved compared to the Pudong Regent. Although this comparison might not be perfect, it definitely enhances the guest experience significantly.
3. The breakfast at Heron Regent is abundant and uniquely flavorful. Compared to other hotels at the same price level, breakfast is served in a semi-buffet style with an exclusive menu. More importantly, breakfast ends at 11 AM, which is very guest-friendly for those like me who can’t get up before 10.

1. The hotel lobby is circular in design, so it might take a little time to find the check-in counter when you first arrive (but this basically doesn’t affect the experience).

🏁 In summary, Shanghai Heron Regent is a luxury hotel well worth visiting. Although the price might make some guests hesitate, you can arrange bookings through our team, and the experience definitely matches the cost.

💗 Other Tips:

- The automatic door design at the hotel entrance adds a ceremonial touch, enhancing the first impression upon arrival.
