The Bund in Shanghai, the Waibaidu Bridge under the night sky

✅ As dusk dyes the banks of the Huangpu River, the Waibaidu Bridge, with its steel backbone, gently links the skyscrapers of Lujiazui, the gilded outline of the Shanghai Tower, and the artistic sculptures along the Suzhou Creek.

🎈 The evening breeze sweeps over the suspension cables, as if you can hear the whistle of the train from 1907 and the horn of the 2023 cruise ship harmonizing here. The most wonderful sight is when you lean on the railing and look afar—the spire of the Oriental Pearl Tower is perfectly suspended in the center of the bridge arch, like a pearl gently cradled by steel arms.
