✨Guest Room
Today, I stayed in the Pearl Bund River View Suite. Each of the three panoramic windows offered a different view. From the living room's International Architecture Complex (Act 1), to the view of the Huangpu River from the bedroom (Act 2), and finally to the Oriental Pearl standing before the dressing table (Act 3). It was as if I was walking through a moving picture scroll of the scenic Bund.
The bathroom boasted a retro and luxurious style. Sparkling gold leaf details, a crystal chandelier, and a uniquely designed antique-style bathtub... Filling the bathtub with water, pouring a glass of red wine, and amid the rising steam, I felt as if I was living a Louis XVI-era aristocratic dream.
At 4 p.m., slanting sunlight filled the room. It was a rare moment in the day when I didn't need to turn on the lights—a beautiful moment of light. I sat in a chair, quietly enjoying the tranquility before me, and waited for night to fall.
✨FLAIR
FLAIR's elevator corridor is separate and tucked away on the opposite side of the hotel's reception desk. If you're not a regular customer, you'll likely spend some time wandering around. It exudes a mysterious atmosphere, reminiscent of a speakeasy.
FLAIR reopened in a new form at the end of last year. While retaining its modern, skyscraper-like appearance, featuring log beams from the old building, it incorporates modern geometric design elements, skillfully blending the essence of old and new design.
The diamond-shaped metal lattice ceiling evokes the image of the sparkling waters of the Pura River flowing into the room at sunset. A row of liquor bottles line the bar counter, adding a sparkling glow to the entire space.
