Wangxian Gu Heavenly Valley, China

My drone crashed at Wangxiangu! I didn't get a single photo, but I spent 2 days and 1 night to create this hassle-free guide, including routes, dining, accommodations, and photo spots, all without a drone! All my photos were taken with a phone. If you're planning to visit Wangxiangu, make sure to read this!
🚗【Transportation】
❇️ There is a high-speed train from Shangrao Station (30 RMB/person) or you can take a ride-hailing car, which takes about 1 hour. There are plenty of parking spaces.
❇️ If you choose an internal homestay, you can get off at the homestay center to save half the walking distance.
❇️ There are no shuttle buses inside the scenic area, and there are many steps in the valley, so you have to walk.
🎫【Tickets】 120 RMB/person (exit before 22:00), you need to buy another ticket for the next day. Staying in an internal homestay can waive the double ticket fee.
🏠【Accommodation】
❇️ There are private homestays outside the scenic area, which are cheaper.
❇️ However, I prefer staying inside the scenic area, which is well-managed, has better conditions, better views, less walking, and includes breakfast and two-day tickets for two people.
⚠️ Internal homestays range from 699 to over 10,000 RMB. How to choose?
✅ Wangxiangu homestays are divided into two types: cliffside homestays and fairy homestays. I don't recommend cliffside ones as they are expensive and require climbing stairs repeatedly without elevators.
✅ Fairy homestays include Qingyue, Cuiwei, Yunguang, and Taixiao. Only Taixiao offers a panoramic view with a large bathtub terrace overlooking Wangxiangu.
※ ㊙️ I stayed in Building 18, 3rd floor, which has a large public terrace (P6). You can take photos there even if you don't stay overnight. It's a hidden gem for photography.

📍 Pink spots are passable, blue spots are great for photos.
🌟 Take photos at Hundred Boats Bridge between 13:00-14:00 to avoid backlighting.
✈️【Drone】 There are too many drones in the scenic area. My drone crashed into a cliff. The staff helped at night, and the Blue Sky Rescue Team retrieved it the next day. Be cautious when flying.
🍽️【Dining】 Bawei Street offers snacks. Besides the homestay restaurant, September Coffee offers coffee, while others use coffee liquid or powder.
🧣【Hanfu】 I brought my own Song-style round-neck robe, making up for not finding good Hanfu in Luoyang. Wearing it cured my social anxiety.
✅ Wangxiangu is definitely worth visiting. If possible, avoid holidays. There are hardly any people in the morning, and the staff and shops start working at 10:00.
