Wangxiangu: A Fairyland for Immortal Heroes

Preparation

- ID: Bring your ID card or other valid ID.

- Clothing: Prepare appropriate clothing for the season. Bring light and breathable clothes in summer and sun protection; wear long-sleeved jackets in spring and autumn; keep warm in winter. In addition, the scenic area is suitable for wearing Hanfu, which you can bring or rent in the scenic area.

- Other items: Mobile phone, camera, power bank, charger, and personal medicine.

Transportation

- Self-driving: Depart from Nanchang, Hangzhou, Shanghai, and other places, and take the Shanghai-Kunming Expressway, Beijing-Taipei Expressway, and Dezhou-Shangrao Expressway (G0321), then transfer to provincial and county roads to reach the scenic area. There is a large parking lot in the scenic area.

- Public transportation: Take the high-speed train to Shangrao Station, and take the shuttle bus to Wangxiangu after exiting the station. The fare is CNY 30 per person, and the bus departs every hour from 9:30 to 15:30. The journey takes about 1 hour.

Ticket information

Adult ticket: CNY 120; children 1.2–1.5 m/elderly 65–70 years old: CNY 80; children under 1.2 m/elderly over 70 years old: free.

Tour route

- Ancient Immortal Hero Tour: Arrive at Wangxiangu → Waterfall Walkway → Baihe Cliff Viewing Platform → Lanyue Bridge → Baiwei Street → Hu Clan Ancestral Hall → Yangfu Square → Baige Bridge → Mingchan Alley → Workshop Street → Fujia Courtyard → Viewing Platform → Chaohe Tower → Glass Walkway → Leimu Bridge.

- Leisure Walk Tour: Wangxian Lake (take a boat) → Qingyun Bridge → Zuixian Bridge → Bar Street → Baiwei Street → Sanshen Temple → Theater Square.

Food recommendations

- Hengfeng Kudzu Powder: Try freshly squeezed kudzu juice, kudzu powder crisp, etc. Located opposite Yangjia Restaurant on Ruogu Street.

- Wangxian Silly Winter Melon: Winter melon tea and golden crispy winter melon are worth trying. Located at the end of the snack street.

- Stringy Corn: Stringy corn, located next to Wangxian Silly Winter Melon.

Accommodation

- Homestays in the scenic area: Such as Wangxi Xiaozhu Homestay, priced at about CNY 500–2,500 per night. You can enjoy the night view of the scenic area and experience activities such as bonfire parties.

- Homestays outside the scenic area: Relatively low price, about CNY 180–300 per night.
