Songzanlin Monastery is an incredibly beautiful Lama Temple. When I first saw the pictures, I thought it was truly beautiful. I had to see it for myself.
And I wasn't disappointed. It was worth the long journey and several hours of driving, even though it was pouring rain on the day I visited.

The temple is majestic, magnificent, and beautiful. It sits atop a hill, with a dazzling yellow roof visible from afar. Monks actually reside there.

Some people even dressed in Tibetan-style costumes to take photos. It's so lovely and beautiful.
