Abuji Cuo One-Day New Route, No Backtracking.
With an altitude of nearly 4400m, the Abuji Cuo new and old route is an 18km round-trip hike ⛰️. Along the way, you'll encounter forests, meadows, pastures, lakes, and snow-capped mountains. The scenery is rich and diverse, and you don't have to retrace your steps, it's absolutely amazing.
From Xilianpen Pass (altitude 3690m) to No. 2 Pasture is a total of 7KM, with not much elevation gain and mostly flat paths. The scenery is also beautiful. No. 2 Pasture has supplies: instant noodles for 20, hot water refill for thermos for 10, bottled water for 8 (forgotten others), and butter tea is free to drink.
There are no supplies from No. 3 Pasture to the pass. This section has more elevation gain and the scenery is average. If there's beautiful scenery along the way when taking the shuttle, the driver will also stop for photos. The shuttle fee is shown in the last picture!
The wind at the summit is very strong, so make sure to keep your head warm; wear a down liner and fleece!
