Tiger Leaping Gorge

Tiger Leaping gorge hiking tour is definitely a must when you are visiting a Yunnan province. It s definitely both mentally and physically challenging, depending on time you have to spend hiking. Actual Tiger leaping Gorge is a bit crowded, so if you want to enjoy hiking fully, you might consider to visit that first, than to go to the mountain. There s 2 path for hiking. Upper and middle tracking route. We did middle one, due to lack of time. We came to Naxi family Guesthouse by car, from there we climbed to the top of 28 bends, definitely most challenging part of the hike, and we came all the way back to Halfway guesthouse from where we organized a car to drop us back to the Qiaotou town. Tea horse guesthouse is definitely a must stay place, fat least for a beer or short break, but i would definitely recommend you to stay there over the night. Especially if you choose to hike couple of days, since full track is long about 22km. You have stunning view on Jade snow mountain. They seem unreal.
