Tiger Leaping Gorge

Tiger Leaping Gorge, also known as the Tiger Leaping Ravine, is located on the way from Lijiang to Shangri-La.

You can take a one-day trip from Lijiang or stop to enjoy the natural scenery on the way to Shangri-La.

When you arrive here, you need to buy an entrance ticket, which is mandatory for everyone. Another optional ticket is for the escalator. You can choose to buy it or not. If you don't buy it, there are stairs you can walk down to enjoy the view.

However, it is recommended to buy the escalator ticket as the path is very steep.
