Nowadays, young people prefer the "Internet Celebrity Holy Land"

In recent years, the topic of young people seeking divine blessings has remained hot, with headlines like "Young people are keen on temple tourism", "Young people choose to offer incense between work and self-improvement", and "Choosing Buddha over seeking others or oneself", making temples the contemporary "Internet Celebrity Holy Land" for young people to cultivate and rest their minds.

There are also many temples in Chaoshan. Today, we come to the Bodhi Zen Temple in Chaoyang District, Shantou City, with no admission fee and no need for reservations. Just the archway gate of the Bodhi Zen Temple is thought-provoking. When you enter and see the plaque saying "Bodhi Zen Temple", and then inadvertently look back, you find the other side of the plaque reads "Turn Back to the Other Shore". Arriving at the Mahavira Hall, you pay respects to the Buddha and Bodhisattvas.

It is worth mentioning that the Mahavira Hall here is built according to the architectural characteristics of Chaoshan, and the interior decorations are very "Chaoshan". Coming to the "Tower of Ten Thousand Buddhas", which has five floors, you pay a simple visit to the Buddha and Bodhisattvas on the first floor.

The two most famous attractions here are the Bodhi Golden Summit and the Guanyin Cave

【Guanyin Cave】
To enter, you need to pass under a "bridge bottom" and a "rockery fountain", go up a small slope, and then there is a flight of stairs, with the right wall featuring a yellow base and the large characters "Namo Amitabha Buddha", subtly guiding you to climb the stairs to the middle of the hill. It's not high or steep, and it takes about 10 minutes to reach. At the entrance of the cave, you see many Bodhisattvas. The cave is relatively dry, with a suitable temperature, and not damp. In different recesses of the cave, different Bodhisattvas are seated. Seeing so many Bodhisattvas for the first time is quite shocking.
Outside the cave, there are two platforms: one is Chaoyang's first Buddhist music fountain, where you can also see statues of Tang Sanzang and his three disciples and Ji Gong; the other is a regular scenic spot, very interesting.

【Bodhi Golden Summit】
Reaching the summit, the golden summit Buddha is the most dazzling. Circling the golden summit Buddha from left to right and then kneeling down, most of the inner confusion, anxiety, and perplexity are relieved, and the mood becomes relaxed.
