Upon entering the scenic area, the majestic ruins of Changsha Fort immediately catch your eye. Built during the Kangxi era of the Qing Dynasty, the fort has a history of over 300 years. It is rectangular in shape, constructed with granite, standing about 10 meters tall and spanning approximately 200 meters in circumference. The fort is equipped with battlements and cannon ports, and it once housed dozens of cannons, guarding the vital passage of Shanwei Port.

Next to the fort ruins is the Changsha Fort Museum, which displays numerous artifacts and historical materials related to the fort, including cannons, cannonballs, swords, flags, and more. These exhibits vividly recreate the heroic deeds of the soldiers who defended the coastline.
