Day hike from Shanghai｜Fuzhi Mountain·Shilang·Rapeseed Terraces

If we talk about the most popular hiking spots recently, Fuzhi Mountain is definitely on the list.
I went there on the last weekend of March, and there were so many people‼ ️
We set out at 7:30 in the morning and arrived at the starting point of the hike at around 12 noon. We waited for the main group until nearly 12:30 before we started hiking.

We took the loop route, and overall it felt okay. Novices can go for it. Because the temperature was 28 degrees that day, it felt hot and needed to drink more water.

It starts with a climb to reach the popular stone waves. It is best to wear gloves when climbing the stone waves. The stones are more stable and easier to climb, but it is also best to wear non-slip hiking shoes 🥾, and it is best to put mobile phones and other items in your pockets to avoid falling into the cracks of the rocks

The route to Shilang is quite long, but we only chose to climb a section, and then started climbing all the way to the top of Fuzhi Mountain. The scenery at the top of the mountain is great.

There are many steps on the way down the mountain. Sisters with bad knees are advised to wear knee pads. Not long after going down the mountain, there will be a supply point with toilets and a canteen, where you can take a short break.

We arrived at the bottom of the mountain at 4:30 without rushing. There were more people passing by Shilang than at noon. After reaching the bottom of the mountain, you can take pictures at the rapeseed terraces, play, and then eat at the viewing platform.

When we went there, the rapeseed flowers were not very lush, so we had to reconsider this route to see the rapeseed flowers. However, the green terraced landscape was still spectacular, and climbing the stone waves was quite interesting, so I still recommend this route. I guess there will be fewer people later, and the experience will be better.
