The ancient name of Xucun is Fuzili, which originated in the Eastern Han Dynasty. It has a history of more than 1,800 years and has 16 national cultural relics protection units.
There are nearly 200 well-preserved buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties in Xucun. The unique ancient village building complex is the essence of it, including 15 ancient buildings from the Yuan and Ming dynasties represented by the Daguan Pavilion, Gaoyang Gallery Bridge, Wumafang, Dabangbo Temple, and Xushelin House.
Located in She County, Huangshan, about 20 kilometers from the county seat. You can drive by yourself or take a bus from the county seat, but the bus stops operating very early, so be careful not to miss the return bus.
1From Chengkan, it takes about 20 minutes to reach Xucun. It costs 30 yuan to take a taxi from Chengkan, but because Xucun is located in a remote area, the driver will only accept the order if you want to return together. It is also difficult to get a taxi in Xucun.
2 The ticket price is 35 yuan, but there are many entrances to the village and no one checks tickets.
The 3 main scenic spots include Tongshi Chuifang Archway, Dajun Bodimen Archway, Gaoyang Bridge, Shuangshou Chengen Archway, Daguan Pavilion, and Wuma Archway. There are simple signposts in the village, just follow the signs.
