Exploring Huizhou Ancient City

A while ago, I visited Huizhou Ancient City, a gem originating from the Qin Dynasty. This place is a marvel of white walls, black tiles, horse-head walls, and exquisite wood carvings.

I enjoyed wandering through Huizhou Garden, learning about Huizhou architecture and garden art. Doushan Street, with its well-preserved Ming and Qing Dynasty buildings, felt like a journey through time. The Xuguo Stone Archway, known as the "Oriental Triumphal Arch," was truly iconic.

The free entry made it easy to explore, and a small backpack with water and snacks was sufficient for the visit. Huizhou Ancient City's cultural wonders left a lasting impression. I highly recommend experiencing its charm.
