Qinghai Lake is China’s largest saltwater lake and a breathtaking high-altitude destination. Ringed by snow-capped mountains and golden rapeseed fields in summer, the lake shimmers with deep blues and greens under a vast sky. It’s also a sacred site for Tibetan pilgrims and an important bird sanctuary. You can cycle around the lake or visit Tibetan villages nearby.
