This time, Jia Yi and I packed our bags and set off on a journey to find the beauty of nature. In the embrace of Shennongjia, we found a secluded paradise—Nanxi Meizi Guesthouse. We tasted local specialties like cured meat, wild vegetables, and native chicken, each dish leaving a lasting impression. Especially the native chicken soup stewed with mountain spring water—clear broth and fragrant aroma—Jia Yi wanted another bowl after finishing it. At the table, we enjoyed the food while sharing stories of the day, warm and happy.

After dinner, Jia Yi and I picked a few books and sat on the soft sofa, savoring this rare peaceful moment. For book lovers, this is undoubtedly a paradise. Jia Yi chose a picture book about animals, while I flipped through a book introducing Shennongjia’s natural scenery, as if time froze at that moment.

As night fell, we gazed at the starry sky from the guesthouse’s viewing platform. The night sky in Shennongjia was exceptionally bright, with stars seemingly within reach. I pointed to the brightest star and told Jia Yi it was the North Star, symbolizing direction and hope. We made beautiful wishes, hoping our future life would be as bright and hopeful as this starry sky. At that moment, I felt immense happiness and peace.
